Where Snagcast is different
- Nothing leaves your device to be heard or translated. Snagcast makes the captions and their translation on your phone or computer; your videos are not sent to Snagcast. Privacy says exactly what leaves your device.
- Pay once, or not at all. Captions are free, translation is free for 30 minutes on each device, and Snagcast Pro is US$29.90, one payment, with no subscription and no hours to count.
- No account. Nothing to sign up for, no ads, no tracking.
- Made for learning a language. The line as spoken and its translation on screen together (two captions at once), and Wait for captions so no line is skipped on a slower device.
- Keep and share the moment. Clip just the part you want with its captions drawn in, then share it to the app your audience is on (clip with captions). Keep a video's sound alone, too, or record the part you want of a site's video as it plays, picture and sound.
