Installing on Windows

1. Choose Download for Windows and open the installer.
2. Snagcast's Windows builds are test builds that are not code-signed yet, so Windows may show "Windows protected your PC". Choose More info, check the app is Snagcast-Setup, then choose Run anyway.
3. Snagcast updates itself from then on.

Installing on Android

1. Choose Download for Android on your phone (or scan the code on the home page).
2. Open the downloaded file. If Android asks, allow your browser to install apps, then choose Install.
3. Snagcast tells you when an update is ready.

Checking a download

The checksums page lists the SHA-256 of what each Download button gives. Compare it with your file's:

• Windows: certutil -hashfile Snagcast-Setup-x.y.z.exe SHA256
• Mac or Linux: shasum -a 256 <file>

Something went wrong

On your phone, open Settings › Report a problem in Snagcast: it sends what you write and the app's recent warnings (web addresses cut to the site's name, no file paths). See Privacy for what a report holds.
